AI Sound Generation

ezAudioDeck includes a built-in AI sound generator powered by ElevenLabs.

Setup

  1. Sign up at elevenlabs.io
  2. Go to API Keys
  3. Create a key with "Sound Effects" and "User read" permissions enabled
  4. Paste the key into ezAudioDeck's settings (Global Settings → ElevenLabs API Key)

Generating Sounds

  1. Select a key and click "Generate with AI"
  2. Describe the sound you want in natural language:
    • "Thunder crash with echo"
    • "Retro arcade power-up"
    • "Notification ping with subtle reverb"
    • "Crowd cheering in a stadium"
  3. Adjust the Creative / Literal slider to control how closely the AI follows your prompt
  4. Click Generate — the AI creates the sound in seconds
  5. Preview the result, then:
    • "Add to Key" to bind it to the selected key
    • "Save to Disk" to export it as an audio file

Tips

  • Be specific in your descriptions for better results
  • The Creative/Literal slider is remembered across sessions
  • The last save folder is also remembered for convenience
  • A free ElevenLabs tier is available with limited monthly credits
  • Generated sounds can be used like any other custom audio — with volume, loop, fade, and device routing controls
